DVD FAQ's
What is the difference between the different types of DVD ? There are many dfferent formats for DVD which is too detailed for this table, but there are essentially 3 current standards, DVD5, DVD9 and DVD 10. DVD 5 and 9 are single sided but with differing layers and data capacities (see below), these look like standard CDs when printed. DVD 10 is a double sided disc, so only the centre hub is printable.
How much data can a DVD hold? This depends on the format required and final use of your product, a DVD is suitable for high resolution Audio / Video and or Data.
