The Corona String Quartet is an experienced ensemble, comprising professional musicians
who have studied at some of the world’s leading music colleges and conservatoires. The group
members have made numerous appearances on BBC TV and worked extensively as individuals
with many top London and international orchestras, including the English Symphony Orchestra,
the London Soloists’ Chamber Orchestra and the Virtuosi of Santa Cecilia, Rome.
The Quartet’s selection of repertoire caters for a wide range of musical tastes, from Classical
to Romantic, Jazz and popular styles. The mood of the music can be laid back and relaxed or
lively and up-beat, depending on the requirements of the occasion.
Below is a selection of the Quartet’s repertoire. Please note that this list is not comprehensive,
but merely represents a selection of the repertoire. The Quartet is happy to discuss individual

The Ceremony : The Corona String Quartet will enhance your special day, providing
background music before the service (civil or religious), whilst your guests arrive at the
venue. The Quartet can also play at each of the key points during the ceremony:
- the arrival of the bride
- the signing of the register
- the exit of the bridal party
The Drinks Reception: As your guests move to the drinks reception, the Corona String
Quartet will be on-hand to set the atmosphere you desire, with subtle, appropriate music,
thus ensuring everyone is relaxed, happy and comfortable whilst allowing conversation to
flow naturally.
The Wedding Breakfast : To allow a smooth transition from the drinks reception to the
wedding breakfast, the Quartet will play a suitable selection of pieces for this part of the
day. The Quartet has received many favourable comments for their ability to achieve a
perfect balance between music and conversation; loud enough to be heard and set the
all-important mood but never too strong to overpower the conversation of your guests.

The Corona String Quartet is experienced in providing background music / on-stage
entertainment for corporate dinners, drinks receptions and product launches.
Repertoire is varied and versatile, and whether your event requires Classical music or
Jazz / Popular show tunes, the Corona Quartet will meet your demands.
Background Music
Good quality live music can transform your event into a truly memorable one. The Quartet
will play a selection of your choice of repertoire throughout the reception, providing subtle
background music while your guests / clients are mingling. If the Quartet's services are
required for dinner, the ensemble will continue to play, creating a perfect ambience for your
event and helping to promote the natural flow of conversation. The Quartet prides itself on
being able to strike a perfect balance: the music is loud enough to be heard, but never so
powerful that it overpowers the conversation in the room. (However, if your event is taking
place in a large venue, we are happy to provide subtle amplification for single or
multi-room events)
On-Stage Entertainment
If you would prefer the musical entertainment to be more of a focal-point, with a stage
set-up (with or without added amplification), then look no further. The Corona Quartet's
members have a varied and wide-ranging experience in performing at product launches,
charity balls, royal events and for television. This has included performances at Lancaster
House, Kensington Gardens, the Dorchester, the Royal Academy of Arts and the Victoria
and Albert Museum. Repertoire is carefully selected according to the particular demands
of the event, and this highly versatile ensemble will prove to be a real asset to your business,
helping to highlight and promote your product in true style.
