Welcome to Musical Cocktails' Archive Recording Services

Our archive recording services have been used for three principle functions.

  1. to provide a broadcast quality recording of a live concert
Ideal for soloists, groups, orchestras, choral societies, composers, education authorities and agents
  2. to provide an historical document and broadcast quality recording for a special occasion
ie. memorial services, anniversary concerts, charity events.
  3. to provide an archive recording of speeches
used for conferences, trust meetings, private members clubs and churches.

(Where there is a rehearsal on the same day we would usually use this for setting up and balance testing)

Recording Facilities:

Our method for location recording guarantees the highest achievable standard for your recordings, with the cleanest signal path to tape or disc. Our aim is to give you a completely natural recording of the music / speech through the fusion of our highly skilled engineers and the use of the most advanced technology available.

We use the latest analogue and digital systems as appropriate to produce high resolution digital recordings. Our equipment has been chosen to get the best from the microphones we use and we record direct to digital stereo or multi-track tape (16bit 44.1kHz CD standard up to 24bit 48kHz) and direct to harddisc (with resolution all the way up to 24bit 192kHz) with any required format or industry standards as requested.

We can cater for technical set-ups ranging from a 2 microhpne direct to stereo recording all the way through to 48 track multi-track. Our services of course encompass full digital editing, mixing and CD mastering to give you the complete production service.
